Groups Policy Infrastructure:
When you open the Group Policy Management Console, the "status" tab. This shows the replication status at-a-glance "elements of group policy across domain controllers.
Repeat: do not need any 2012 WS DCs to view this data-GPMC, you can get information from W2k3 and last DCs.
The first screenshot shows that the "infrastructure" data is not collected for the domain DC01 is current and domain controller references "(which can be changed).
Click the scan button at the bottom of the tab to start collecting data and comparison with baseline DC.
"WARNING" it may take some time in a great atmosphere AD as you need to check multiple items on each domain controller in the domain.
Click the circle-arrow buttons to see more detail.currently showing that all four GPOs in the domain are in full sync between my baseline DC and my one other DC.
Refresh the console, see DC offsets full synchronization occurs to edit a Group Policy object, and copying.
If you click on "Active Directory" or "SysVol" under the "GPO version" link, a dialog box appears, which displays the version number for the GPO (s) not yet synchronized.
Refresh the console to see DC back full synchronization replication status source...
Here's a screenshot of the same process with the "baseline domain controller" being a 2003 R2 DC which also hosts all 5 FSMOs in my lab domain/forest.
Remote GP Update:
Next up is remote GP Update – yes ladies and gentlemen, you can select an OU and choose to initiate a GPUpdate /FORCE on the computers within that OU.
The update fails against one. We can "Save" the log to a CSV file for documentation, historical tracking or further troubleshooting work.
Open ports through the Firewall ports firewall Group Policy remote update» Starter Group Policy objects that are part of the 2012 WS, also. I was then able to update a system failure.
This is how, create a scheduled task for each user's system and the organizational unit (s) of the GPO on a computer that is running GPUPDATE/force.
This only applies to Vista/2008 years, and new instances of the operating system
It uses the random scrolling 0-10 minutes for each system, so not all jump at the same time
A command prompt window, and displays the task running on the target computer, if users log on care may end user confusion and possible support, as it happens
"All or nothing" is the user interface. It is updated to an organizational unit, all of the GPO-if you need some size on the system, you need to (surprise) Via remote PowerShell
"Invoke GPUPDATE" Cmdlet
This allows you to focus on one or more specific computer (not all OU sub OU)
This allows you to adjust the time offset/delay time (instead of 0-10 minutes)
Allows you to restart the target computer, or disconnect any connected user (if this is required to ensure that this policy is set, requires a system reboot or close/open update log)
Other flexible options
Example: invoke Gpupdate computer DHCP01-1 randomdelayminutes engineering
GPUPDATE/force the named DHCP01 with a delay of 1 minute on the computer user and computer policies
You are currently browsing the Powershell, as it relates to the GPO, see Group Policy objects in the backup process
You can learn it in one morning, lunch with all the Gpo backup, is Powershell Abrir port through the firewall ports Firewall Group Policy remote update, starter Group Policy objects are also part of 2012 OS . Then, I was able to update the system fails.
